so i'm back to posting on here after a long medical break. recovering from thyroid cancer, had surgery in June and treatment in September, but my immune system is still resetting itself after several smaller illnesses after treatment.

so it's time for me to finally implement my long term plan for health, fitness and wellbeing in order to heal my body mind and soul.

firstly, my exercise plan:
- Gym with Jono 3 times a week (start with 10 min treadclimber, 10 min incline walking, 20 min weights)
- Walk Max with Jono 3 times a week (20-30 min)
- 1hr walk on my days off (1-2 a week)

my diet:
- breakfast of high fibre cereal/porridge and fruit
- lunch of eggs and spinach on wholemeal bread'
- snack on either yoghurt and fruit or up&go vive

Dinners
Mon - Wholemeal pasta with sausage/tomato sauce
Tue - Stirfry
Wed - Tacos/burritoes with wholemeal pitas
Thurs - Wholemeal spag bol
Fri - Homemade pizza with wholemeal pitas
Sat - Takeaway
Sun - New recipe night

Extras

- two herbal teas a day
- supplements (multivitamin, zinc, magnesium, spirulina)
- try new health foods to implement into my cooking (chia, quinoa flakes, cocoa nibs)
- regular stretching

that's all i can think of right now. will keep updating =)

Wednesday/Thursday

Yesterday i had a 8.5 hour shift, so exercise wasn't exactly easy except for incidental. i started off eating well, with eggs in wholemeal+seed bread, and spag bol with wholemeal pasta, but then i got stressed out and ate 175g bag of salt and vinegar chips. thankfully i still stayed reasonable on the cal, around 2000. I walked to work and i did plenty of walking at work too because i was in self serve for the whole shift.

today is starting off much better, with fruit and muesli toast, followed by an hour walk with the pup, followed by 2 eggs and a small bowl of tinned fruit, followed by a intense bike interval session that burned 150cal. i'm hoping to get in at least another workout (weights) before work, maybe even another walk.

tis time for lunch (wholemeal pasta).

Tuesday

i walked to and from class, and i did some work in the gym, but not very much, just enough for the class. i'm going dancing tonight which will hopefully help energize me.
i ate really well today, though i'm still a bit peckish - eggs in wholemeal+seed bread, cheese ham and salad sandwich on wholemeal+seed bread, some healthy trail mix and a healthy choice carbonara meal.

Monday

so far today i've managed only ten minutes of cycling (but i worked hard, switching from high speed to high intensity) and 25 minutes of weights. i will be walking to and from work today as well. i've eaten terribly, but i'm ready to get back on the wagon tomorrow.

i'm having trouble with my homework, i've always hated creative assignments when you don't know how it will be marked and have very little information to base it on. i'll probably be up late tonight finishing it in time, my first assignment in the course and i'm already avoiding and procrastinating! i'll try to finish one or two of the correspondences i have to write up before i go to work, but i still have to shower and get changed and such, so we'll have to see.

i'm hoping that i'll sleep well enough tomorrow to either cycle or walk the pup before i go to class tomorrow, since it's going to be a nice temperature.

ok i'm going to revive this very old blog in hope that it can inspire me further to achieve my goals.

I'm 19 years old, i live with my father and fiance, and at the moment i weigh about 63 kilos. i'd like to get down to 58 kilos in the long run, and have already lost 6 kilos or so this year healthily. i will post all my exercise and some food posts in here so i can account for myself.
